Description: Basically, I added Jewlander, wanted to sell him my Cloudy Moon Killer Exclusive, renamed "The Midnight News". He paid $3120 US Dollars first, I went after, adding in the notes he would not chargeback and his SteamRep url. I gave him the hat shortly after. I then transferred it straight to the bank, can't be too careful you know! , and subsequently proceeded to purchase a Scorching Flames Team Captain, Scorching Flames Killer Exclusive and a Burning Flames Brown Bomber. Then, I recently got notification Jewlander has chargebacked all of his purchases, and I, to my horror, find I have been chargebacked $3120 US Dollars. Hope that explains it .

Could you please provide pictures of inventory history showing it in the Steam browser for the entire day?

Story:
About two weeks ago, Jewlander posted on my trade that he wanted to purchase my Unusual Orbiting Planets Noh Mercy, renamed "Eater of Worlds" for Buds or Cash. I checked out his Steamrep and SourceOp Rep Thread, and he seemed to be trustworthy, not to mention he was polite and patient. He offered me $290.00 and I accepted. We traded on April 1st, 2013 around 9 PM, with him sending the money first, which I received with no issues. I sent him the Noh Mercy and everything seemed fine.
However, on April 17th. 2013, I received an email from Paypal.com informing me that the amount of $290.00 USD had been held by Paypal on the grounds that the sender charged it back.
I went straight to Paypal and confirmed that the funds had been held, and began filling out a claim for scamming, but then I looked at Jewlander's profile, and it detailed how the chargebacks were because of an error on his credit card company's account (The posts are still on his profile). I decided to not file the scammer report because it seemed that other people had also been charged back and were confronting Jewlander about it, who claimed that he was working on returning everyone's money, or the items that they traded.
Despite this, he hasn't been available to speak to through Steam Chat for almost four days now, and ignored my hailing messages I sent through chat.
I understand that this may be a real accident, but it seems like Jewlander hasn't made any serious efforts to fix the issue or return people's items.

If you are reading this, Jewlander, if not the money, I would sincerely like my Noh Mercy back, because as I said numerous times, it is my most precious Unusual, and I traded it to you in trust.

Please let me know if there's anything I need to add to this report, as this is the first scammer report I have filed.

I also got a $700 chargeback from Jewlander but giving it a few more days for the issue to clear up. I did speak to PayPal and they have confirmed some of his story (namely that he contacted them to try to reverse the chargeback) so that much is true. If my chargeback has not been reversed by Wednesday April 24th, I'll add my scam report to the thread.

Story:
Since I was short on cash I was looking to cash out of my unusuals which included a Secret TC that I unboxed, a clean beams modest and a clean Noh Mercy. Jewlander showed interest in my unusuals and we worked up a deal that included pure buds. Since he was short on the buds, I agreed to accept the difference in PayPal since Jewlander had a good reputation. We did a trade for some pure buds and PayPal cash. After I had received the balance and confirmed PayPal payment, traded him the items. As you can see here:

I've been waiting for 8 days now and although Jewlander claims that he is actively looking to reversed the charges, there is no proof that he is doing so. I contacted paypal and they indicated that the buyer had contacted paypal to ask how he could reverse the chargeback. Paypal told Jewlander that he needed to fax affidavits acknowledging the charge. On April 19th, Jewlander posted on his profile that he had faxed all of the required affidavits to paypal, however, as of today (April 24th) paypal has not received any documents from Jewlander.

I liked Jewlander and hesitated to file a scammer report, but Jewlander has not being heard of in 6 days. He used to be the type of TF2 player that logged in daily and stopped suddenly when chargebacks started to happen. I honestly believe that 8 days gave enough time to Jewlander to at least keep his victims updated on his progress in getting the issue resolved. His failure to do so prompted me to file this scammer report.

I still hope that it is all a big misunderstanding and he will come online (someday) to explain himself, but as of now I am out $700+ due to his chargeback and his lack of response has appropriately earned him the scammer tag. I hope he surfaces to clear up his name, but at this point I am not sure...

I've heard from a few other victims that PayPal has reversed the chargeback (yes paypal, NOT Jewlander), this still doesn't make they're home free as they can easily charge it back again. Unfortunately, I am not one of those individuals that had the chargeback reversed by PayPal and still sitting on a -$720 chargeback.

Jewlander, dude, be a man and log in to Steam again and chat with me, trust me I know mistakes happen and I want to believe you're not a scammer, but at this point you need to convince me otherwise. Fix the chargeback or give me items back.

Hey guys I just read the entire thread, I truly apologize for this whole debacle..at this point paypal has reversed 12 of the original 21 chargebacks, and I have 9 remaining that amex has assured me would be reversed as they reverse the fraud claims and money recalls they performed on the 17th when this started! Hopefully everyone here in this thread has already had their chargeback reversed, if not it should be soon. I am currently in talks with Mattie about me handing over some of my bp equal to what is still chargedback as assurance that I have good intentions, I am very very open to this idea as it is completely reasonable! I can vouch that Jewlander has agreed to put remaining hats in SR hands for safe keeping (should Mattie and SR choose to do this). I am also attest to the fact that some of the chargebacks have indeed be reversed.

Nice, I have not spoken to Jewlander is quite a few days now, but I know Mattie has.

I am very happy it appears all the individuals will be properly fixed up.

Jewlander kept his word and reversed my chargeback weeks ago. I can vouch that he is a good guy and this whole ordeal was beyond his control.. He is OK in my book and withdraw my complaint.
