    Appeal for BANNED BY AF2

    Steam profile: 76561198036173113 (Hatchet)

Appeal Plea: I committed the offense(s), I admit it
Appeal Reason: [Change of Heart] I will never scam again.
Victim Repayment: Yes, I repaid the victims of my offense(s)
Previous Appeals: No, this is my first appeal here

    Alternate Accounts:
    None.

    Appeal description:
This infraction happened over a year and a half ago- I was younger, dumber, and much less mature than I am now. I did commit the fraudulent act that happened to someone, I asked the person if I could take a picture with the B.M.O.C. they were wearing while he and I played in a 1v1 match together. The person said sure, and we traded the hat for something of mine (as insurance if I WERE to steal the hat), I feigned connection issues and effectively stole a dirty B.M.O.C. from the person I traded with. I was ignorant to the consequences of such an act at the time, and didn't realize SteamRep even existed- had I not done it in the first place. Yet, I sold the dirty B.M.O.C. for what I believe was around ten keys, and the person I stole it from found me in the trade server (I believe it was a SKIAL server, not sure). After talking to him for an hour or more, I saw the fault in my ways and genuinely apologized to him. I paid him in full for the B.M.O.C. I had stolen, but unfortunately I didn't repay him quick enough, as hid friends had already reported me as a scammer and such. I just got back into Team Fortress 2 after a year or more hiatus, which happened shortafter this occured. I do admit to scamming, and I do not have any interest in scamming anyone ever again. I'm much more knowledgeable now- I only acted as a foolish minor then. I would like to be unbanned to be able to get back into Team Fortress 2, and start playing legitimately. I wish to use these forums, tradeoutpost, and scrap.tf to begin again, but this ban hinders me from doing so. I hope you can all understand my foolishness as a child and will appeal this ban.

(Also, I was banned by AF2, but was confused with the instructions as to report it as a ban from SR, so... yes.)

Well it shouldn't have been Skial as they are a partner and should be running the SR plugin. By all means post the Server you were in as I would like to perhaps find the owner and discuss the benefits of running the plugin to help prevent scammers from entering. I'm sure since you've appealed and know how bad scamming you would agree and post the server info :)

Actually, as I've stated several times in the appeal, this happened two or so years ago. I doubt you can tell me the trade servers you played on two years ago either. And now that I've re-read this and realized the ban was from AF2, that most likely means that I was banned by the AF2 server then. Thank you for your concerning reply though :)

It's been a while and no reply. Could a moderator please look into this?
