    What happened? Description:
    User shown, wanted to buy my M4A1 - S Cyrex which I put on sale on CS:GO Lounge, I offered him $85 USD, which he agreed upon.
    Once we came to the terms of trade he wanted to bring in steamrep MM, which happened to be bacon.
    Bacon went over the semantics of the trade, showed me steam rep. Buyer Shown also wanted to buy my AK47 Case hardened for $35 which we agreed upon. After consulting with the buyer and MM, I had agreed to trade. Once the I gifted the items, MM bacon requested fee which I told him I would provide a key or item of said value. He then started asking for my M4A1- S Atomic Alloy which I was hesitant to give. He then became adamant and kept asking and I told him that once the funds arrive in paypal I would provide it to him. He agreed but he kept asking for it saying he had to provide log. I told him that the more he kept asking the less inclined I am to give it to him. He then subsequently deleted me and and I have not received the funds in my paypal. user Shown also had deleted kicked me out of the conversation.​

    @Iris Based on the private profile in your screenshots, this looks like an impersonator. To the best of my knowledge, Bacon has never had a private Steam profile.

    I noticed the Bacon impersonator asked you for your Steam username, email address, and a username/password for a SteamRep "account". This is almost certainly a thinly veiled attempt at a phishing scam. If you gave him or anyone involved in this trade with a password, I recommend you change it anywhere it's used (Steam, e-mail account, SteamRep forums, PayPal, online banking, etc) immediately then check all of your banking statements for charges you do not recognize. SteamRep staff and other legitimate community admins will never ask you for login information like that, no matter what the situation.

    All that aside, we need some more evidence on the scam in order to process your report.

    Can you please re-take your screenshot of the inventory history in Steam with the URL bar visible, and without cropping or editing them? If you don't have the URL bar visible within Steam, please enable it. To enable the URL bar, go to View -> Settings -> Interface. Check the box next to Display Steam URL address bar when available. Take a full, uncropped screenshot of this inventory history.

    With the URL bar still enabled, click on the name of the person you traded the M4A1 - S Cyrex to. Take a picture of their Steam profile, and upload it here. After taking the screenshot, copy their profile URL and paste it into SteamRep.com. Copy and paste the full SteamRep block from the text box from that page (below their profile picture) into your next reply in this report.

    Because you had an agreement for a PayPal payment, we need screenshots of your PayPal history. Please provide, unedited screenshots showing All activity in your PayPal history (you will have to click the link that says All activity). From your payment history page, select All Activity and make sure the dates include the date right before you were scammed, as well as today's date. Take a full, uncropped screenshot of this history.

    I found the @Shawn person by looking at the victim's friend history on the 16th, and AMAZINGKID, who at that date was named @Shawn, removed the victim. The first fake Bacon Maker, was also on added and removed on the same date.

    Most of the MM's listed on SteamRep have dozens if not hundreds of impersonators. Please make sure you're trading the correct one I can't stress this enough.
