What happened? Description:

They offered CS:GO items to trade for "rare" icons. When the icon they wanted was acquired they then block you. I met them through CSGO Lounge.​

Yes, this was a very stupid thing. I shouldn't have done it but I have to admit the guys profile looked really legit. He had many +reps both on steam and csgolounge.

This is exactly what this person was doing to me. This person probably has these items in their inventory and is selling them for super high and then when you buy them they get way more money than they should and then you get blocked and up up with some stupid emoticon you paid 50+ bucks for.

I just met this guy and he is doing the same scam for the same emote lol. Good thing I didn't fall for his scam. I can't file a report since I close the chat window though.
