    Scam Report

Report Type: [Accomplice] Alternate account of hijacker or scammer
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198096426939

    Victim profile: 76561198072756021

    What happened? Description:
Asked whether or not I had a close friend I trusted a lot then asked me to trade over my items to it so he could see that the item was not duped/bugged/clean (however that works I have no idea) he then attempted to impersonate this player on a different Steam account. HE HAS ALSO ATTEMPTED THIS EXACT SCAM ON MY FRIEND, WHY IS HE STILL NOT BANNED?

    Provide Evidence:
Apologies for not having any screenshots of the attempted scam on me, here is some pretty good evidence that he's a scammer thanks to my friend who was smart enough to screenshot it. Even his Steam bio is screaming "I am a scammer!!" Thank you SteamRep!

@binslayer It's hard to prove where this would have gone if you followed through with the accused's requests, but consistent with multiple other pending reports against them, it is likely to have not ended well. It doesn't look like there is any additional evidence to gather because of where you ended it, but with the additional available evidence I have accepted your report. Feel free to report a violation via their Steam profile.

In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accused's profile
    2. Click "More" drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose "Report Violation"
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click "Submit Report"
