Description: He added me, offering a trade. I asked him why he has banned from trading, he gave me a load of bull. I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt (He had several good, +rep posts in his profile). I gave him the first half of the deal, he then scammed me. Funny thing is that all the alarm bells were going off in my head, yet I continued with the trade, guess that's the mark of a good scammer. These scammers are just crooks. This is not his first scam but hopefully it will be his last. He should be banned from steam forever. He has now removed me from his profile, banned me and made his profile private. This was my first trade, and it ended horribly.

People such as him disgust me. Sorry to hear that you were also scammed He's very lucky that he lives on the other side of the world, if he lived even remotely close to me I would give him a nice knuckle sandwich.

It is advised to NOT ATTEMPT THESE TRADES. These trades are listed below. Reports regarding the following may or may not be processed depending on the amount of evidence received:

1. Game key or Activation code scams
   It's usually impossible to verify the key or activation code in question, trades of this nature are outside of SteamRep investigative policy.
2. Outside of STEAM trades ie: STEAM items vs other Game Economy items/currency scams (RUGP etc.)
   With the sheer number of games and economies available, SteamRep cannot provide a uniform knowledge of all non-steam game currency economies, their intricacies etc. So it is impossible to effectively investigate any case of this nature.

This kind of scam should also be avoided with a faster mark as scammer here on steamrep. I made the report at the 25th of april and still nothing. I also tried to sollecitate admins but nothing. Just look for example at my other report http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198030414174-dragonorigin.27990/ and look at the date... In that case the guy was already reported and marked so how does it takes to read a 3 min conversation (when he CONFESSES TO SCAM!) and mark it as "accepted" ? same for those imo.
This site is made to prevent that such of things, but it should also function.

Thank you for marking him! This should hopefully be the last of his scamming days. Also, even more good news, I managed to get the retailer where I bought the keys to revoke them, and was issued with new keys. I have definitely learnt a hard lesson when it comes to trading. Thanks again for taking action, have an awesome day
