I was advertising that I was buying backpacks on SOP - http://sourceop.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=1308120#1308120 - And the person above added me and said what he was selling. It was his backpack which was several bills/bmocs/stranges/strange festives. He told me he was quickselling for $155.00 because he was buying computer parts. I checked his SR because I wanted to make sure he wasn't listed as a scammer, and he was not, at the time.

Then about an hour ago I went on SR and was about to search for someone when I saw JarateCake's avatar under new scammers. I clicked it to make sure it was the same guy and immediately freaked out. I added Butane and talked to him about what I should do because I am an honest trader. Been trading for the past 6-7 months and have a lot of rep on TF2-Trader, SOP, and TF2OP - My rep threads.

He told me that I should make a report so I am doing so. I'm just really worried because I bought them legitimately and he was not listed as a scammer when I searched him on SR. Please someone help :/ Thanks for your time.

EDIT - I don't have the steam trade chat because as I said, he wasn't marked when I bought them.

The fact that he had an account that wasn't even 2 weeks old should have raised a little red flag. But if he wasn't tagged, then I'm not sure anything can apply.

I knowwww. I didn't even look at the hours. He just chatted me, I looked at his SR and didn't glance at them, then we traded and I paid for the items.

Player is already marked for being a scammer alt. Thanks for the report.
