    Hello!
    I was surprised to see my own name tagged on Steamrep, I only use Steamrep services directly when I am dealing with cash trades, sure it is my major fault. I greatly appreciate what SteamRep does for this community.

    Offenses:
    1. CAUTION for trading with marked scammers. Please contact SteamRep Admins

    I believe that i've been tagged because i bougth 2 Unusuals from a marked scammer on December 27th, I found out that he was banned on Outpost and also Marked on steamrep when TF2 Outpost came online, the reason for his ban was his Steamrep link ( TF2 outpost was down at the time we traded due to hardware issues so i havent checked the hat history like I do most of the times.)

    I bougth those 2 Unusuals from a scammer without knowing that they were owned by a scammer, his account looked perfectly normal, he had decent TF2 playing hours and a quite old steam account ( since 2010) so he not seemed suspicious for me.

    I dont know what i should add more. If any Steamrep admin fell the need to add me and ask a few questions I will be here to answer.

    For the future, we recommend taking care who you trade with. While we no longer issue tags for trading with scammers, other communities may still ban you. Additionally, if it doesn't earn a trade ban from Valve, we may still issue tags for brokering/fencing with scammers. If you want to trade with a single scammer, we won't hold it against you, but further systematic trades with scammers can still earn you a tag.
