I was contacted by this guy who wanted to buy my Earbuds. Since he had decent reputation on TF2OP, and was perfectly fine on Steamrep, I decided to go first. Once the trade was over, he removed me from friends. Soon after he traded the Earbuds (which were level 15) to another account, since they are not in his inventory any more.

Why didn't you use a middleman? Also 12 outpost rep isn't very good.

It was probably careless on my part, but since I don't have much rep myself I couldn't really expect him to go first. Anyway, at least I hope he gets labelled for what he is, for the benefit of anyone else if nothing else.
