Sidenote: My friend ☠Unknown☠ (appears in screenshots) was merely helping me out because I was in this situation and he was giving me sound advice on what to do.

Description:
The trade happened at approximately 12:43 AM January 14, 2013
I was checking TF2 Outpost before going to bed, and this person Conman added me out of the blue saying that he wants to buy my Clean Horseless Headless Horsemann's Head for $30 paypal, I say that I don't even have a pay-pal account and he pushes me to do so. In the middle of this conversation, Conmann sees that I have trouble with paypal and even offers to make my account. About a couple minutes later, The Cool Kid adds me out of the blue at the same time, and he says that he'll buy it for $35. It sounded very suspicious, but I just thought nothing of it at the time. Conman goes offline shortly after The Cool Kid had added me. So, I still have trouble making the account, he explains some things and then I finally make it. He explains more about paypal ensuring me that there are no risks and that he will send the money as a gift, $35 for the HHHH, but never does. After the trade I argue with him about no money being sent, he says that he will send the money after he has bought my Unusual Team Captain, renamed "Steam Captain" Level 5, and my Max's head Level 83. He says that he will pay full price, but he will apparently give the money after the trade, $350 in cash through paypal, I do the trade waiting for the money... it never arrives and thus he goes offline.

Personally, you shouldn't have made the trade, if anything you should have made him go first. Though I do still feel bad for you.
