    Description
This individual indicated in a post that he was about to purchase XCOM:EU but missed the sale by a few minutes, so I proposed to trade him XCOM:EU for 7 Dota 2 treasure keys. He proceeded to counter offer me with a list of game keys and a software valued at $100 on steam. And when I showed no interest in theitems he listed, he then attempted to offer me Paypal. At this point alarm bells are ringing because is willing to offer the money for the Dota 2 treasure keys via Paypal but does not wish to trade via steam window. At this point I insisted that Dota 2 treasure keys would be better because I did not want to risk a chargeback and having to go through to purchase the keys from the steam market myself. He then accuses me of attempting to scam him with a steam chargeback and that he was once scammed (BULLSHIT) with a chargeback on Steam with treasure keys for a game(s) via trade window. And immediately I informed him of the trade policy and that Valve guarantees all items and will revert trades done in steam's trade window if any fraudulent activity occurred, at which time he thanked me for my offer (indirectly acknowledging that he was aware of the trade policy enacted by Valve and he knew I was not going to fall for his pitiful scam attempt and lies).

*Side note: After my encounter with this individual earlier, I went through his steam friends list and I noticed he was friends with a marked game scammer that I came across yesterday. Coincidence? Maybe. But it seems that that scammer and his friends (stibaer included) are extremely sketchy.

In the post the OP is referring to was clearly written, that I am not interested in trading for keys, since I either trade or pay directly. No need for a detour.
The OP should learn to read more and write less, especially when people are ingame.

Sorry, but the remaining paranoid bull**** is too much of a bother to go into detail. Too twisted.

After reviewing, I found not enough evidence to confirm any intent.

    Archiving.
