It has been well over a year since I was marked for trading with OG.

Over the past year I had not appealed to this mark, as I felt that it was partially my fault for trading with a person marked as "scammer", but in reality any items that I received from him did not make it further into the depths of the trading world...

Anyway, I'm now an avid Dota 2 fan and made hundreds of trades, even those including money, and I had not received a single -REP sort of comment.

I think it has been long enough for my mark to be removed and I sincerely hope that you will look into this issue.

Hello, I am not an admin but wanted to say that yes, trading with scammers will get you marked and yes doing it with major or continuously doing so will get you permanently marked. from what I have read It seems you only did it once and I hope this all works out well for you.
Also, thought I should mention that appeals are dealt in which the order they are made, meaning some made around the August-October range are being dealt with now.
Id suggest you read this to give you a better idea of how long it will take to do appeals.

    best of luck: bomberman168

The fact you know who og is, doesn't rly seem an advantage. It only shows you were knowingly trading with one of the biggest scumbags out there...
Plus, you are making it seem in this appeal you only traded him once, am I correct?

Nope, I traded with him several times. But there's a catch to this situation, the items that we traded between each other were just to show off on a server. I didn't sell anything that I got from him to anyone else...

P.S. I get marked by some volunteers who created a website and decided to be judges, and now I have to be in-line to get this tag removed in order to trade in a DIFFERENT GAME? Wake up, that's bullshit.

To what wic said, he ment it like if you were to trade lets say smuggles good, drugs or so on to someone even if it wasn't for profit, you still traded him. like if anything illegal goes on and say a person just held said items theyd still be arrested.

    Hello @ZXC,

Your appeal has been reviewed and it has been rejected for the following reason(s):
    • Lack of sufficient evidence to overturn the original judgment
    • Ban avoidance via alternate accounts
    • Appealing account appears to have been abandoned on Steam
Despite your appeal being rejected, it's recommended that you avoid future situations that might appear to be fraud with Steam trading. Sometimes people reported to Valve by its users can get their accounts trade banned by Steam Support.
