I am here to appeal for my sr caution (and possibly if that can fix my sourceop ban).
On the 12th my steam/paypal/email everything my entire computer was hacked. I lost $3000+ if that isnt unusual enough.

http://www.tf2items.com/id/freez1e?time=1369019393 (may 19th earliest i could get because i didnt trade for a week).
When i got hacked Svolacius who i am sure was the hacker because he sent me a phishing link traded items to himself and bought keys using MY paypal. which is why these chargebacks happend.

So yes i did chargeback however it was because they were unauthorized transactions. here is some proof from paypal who stopped my account before i was even aware i was hacked. in the email below from paypal.

If i need any more information let me know?

No one seems to be looking at this so i will try to post more proof
I sent these to steam support a few days after the hijacking because i had to get my computer completely wiped so i didnt have it for a few days. I actually just recently re-submitted getting my items back from steam support and got them back. I could post that but it was about a month long conversation and there was ALOT so i wont post that unless i need too.
I also have been doing $ trades since the hijacking
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/11680757 have done even more than this but hopefully thats some proof.

It's not that you need more. It is the people at SteamRep have to take their time and work on every single appeal. And there are a lot of appeals so it can take a while.

Would first like to state my above appeal seems good enough for the hijacked part, steam recognized it, paypal recognized it, steamreps turn?

it has come to my attention recently that they added reasons to my caution tag.
    1. Association with hijacked accounts, also was likely hijacked (under investigation).

not completely sure what "associated" means but i looked around it seems it was because of here
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198016207672-freezie-hc™.25925/

I will be completely honest on how this trade happend (which i did do). I was in a trade server (harpoon to be exact) and someone traded me offering his backpack for 60$, it was about a 90$ (bp.tf) value which is honestly pretty standard for people selling backpacks. He put the stuff up and offered it. I had just recently started buying backpacks (march). The account was clean so i bought the items. I in no way was told or knew that it was a hijacked account. I would never buy/sell from/to a scammer and have got significantly better at catching them.

As some of us known it is very difficult to tell when an account is hijacked and personally dont think that people should be punished if its on accident unless there is proof of them working together which there is none.
I dont think i would risk a 4500+ hour account, 3+ steam years and many games/trade/items/competitive tf2 on buying from the scum of trading (scammers/hijackers).

i can say from now on i look for these things.

    - check play time, trade time, reputation, tf2outpost trades for how active they are.
-I check backpack.tf history for days previous to make sure there wasnt any quickselling of unusuals (when/if hijackers try to sell my buds) [hijackers normally take accounts quicksell the backpack for buds/cash and sell the buds for cash]
-I check there recent trade history to see if it even mentioned them cashing out.
    -I do the obvious check steamrep/tf2outpost profiles but i also search there ID in scammer report appeals of steamrep (because they might not be marked recent hijack/scammer){I SUGGEST EVERYONE DO THIS, it could have prevented my friend from losing 6 buds}
-I ask the person what they are using the money for (i know nosy but helps) the quicker the response and the better the answer
-I check there trades within the past month for phishing links and there response to them (if they say yea great ill add you OF COURSE THEY ARE HIJACKED, if they are like ROFL bad scammer then they most likely dont fall for it)

I basically look for any reason to not trade with people that i havent formed a relationship and i know i can trust, does that mean i dont buy from randoms of course i do but i clearly take many cautions and do not ever intend to make a mistake with trading with one. I think i have been fairly successful with these tactics listed.

to be clear not only would i never intentionally trade with one but i also have another reason why.

I was trade banned in May after i was hijacked for selling skyrim for a bills hat + some keys and it turned out the bills and keys were stolen.(if screenshots of this are needed i can get them) I could have NEVER known, he had the trade up for a whole month and looks like a completely normal guy, nothing fishy at all still cant find a damn thing of how this happend but Steamsupport realized there mistake and unbanned me, SINCE THAT is when i decided to be so cautious. losing everything i worked for since before trading/crafting update was terrible to think about (im trying to get enough money for a car) my entire life savings as an 18 year old started here, i NEVER want that to happen again SO I LOOK FOR ANYTHING I CAN TO NOT TRADE WITH $ PEOPLE, something as little as a bills and a few keys almost destroyed my 5000$ backpack.

Thanks for reading and i hope thats enough to get the caution off. If not give feedback please

I was taken to your appeal via a different investigation I was handling. Having reviewed that case and this appeal in detail, I have removed your Caution tag for now. Please be advised the next time your account is hijacked the Caution tag will be permanent. Then if hijacked again, it could go up to a banned status. As I said, it is our job to protect traders. Best of luck and please be extremely careful. Thank you.
