Description: I saw him trading on the Steam forums (screenshot of it) and added him to inquire if he accepted keys. He said he did and I gave the key first. Curse my naivety. He claimed that it was only a guest pass and that he needed to contact Steam support about what happened. I bought the key myself from Gamefly (with a screenshot). After a couple of no responses, he removed from friends and now has my game, and lef tme with nothing. Great way to close off my trading career, huh?

Not sure if this is the right way to post, my first time. Also, pretty sure this was my own fault.

Yeah, I wouldn't have traded that guy first, only 4 comments on his profile is a warning sign, fairly new account and low games. All warning signs.

Yeah, tried to add him again, but it seems that he blocked me.

Ok, so did some research and it seems that Mafia 2 is a region-locked steam key. I think this may be a misunderstanding. At the moment, I think this thread should be closed or put on hold. Sorry, and thanks. Need to contact him but still blocked.

At the moment, he and I are still trying to work things out. He has sent me a picture of his Account Details, and it shows him buying Mafia 2 from the store (which he said he did after trying to activate my key, which inexplicable turned into a guest pass by his word), not from my key (though it may be fabricated, since he had taken it hours before).

However, I'm also getting information that shows that Mafia 2 from gamefly is a legitimate key that is RoW. So, confused but waiting for him to come online to sort it out. Also, removed again so no idea what to do. >_>

Ok, he's not a scammer, I believe. It may just a lot of misunderstandings and unfortunate coincidences with the key from Gamefly and him talking with the other guy. I think he should not be marked as a scammer.
