So here's the story. And I'm not the only victim.

On December 26, 2012, I traded a Vivid Plasma Crocleather Slouch to Gangster Hitler for $67 USD.

One month later, I was hit with a chargeback despite having traded him the Unusual after he sent the payment.

Screenshot 1 shows that I did trade him the Slouch.

Screenshot 2 shows that it's still in his inventory at this point in time.

Screenshot 3 shows that he sent me $67.00 for the Slouch. You can see that he signed "Santa Hitler" in the subject line as that was his alias at the time.

Screenshot 4 shows that he did initiate a chargeback against me.

I sent Paypal as much info as I could to prove that I did in fact trade the item to him, but I have no experience in dealing with chargeback scams, so I don't know what to expect.

I am not the only one who received a chargeback from this guy, so anyone else who got one should post in here as well.

Please let me know if there is any more information/evidence required.

I remember this dude, he wanted to buy Deputy Dog Scorching tc, Deputy asked me to middleman for him. Saw this guy was extremely shady. He also refused to do any other payments beside paypal (Such As moneypak, direct banking. ) Good thing Deputy didnt take the deal.

You're not alone definitely. I've sold $945 worth of items to this guy, let us pray that this is resolved.

I tried to warn as many people as I could about this guy. He was and is a huge red flag. I told a few people at SteamRep about this guy weeks ago, foreshadowing this. I knew it would happen and now we are here. This one and more to follow, from what I here another might get charged back $945 dollars. This guy has bought a lot of high end stuff, including a sparkling luger, that guy is going to be charged back more than likely.

This guy used his donor status on tf2OP as the sole rep to get people to take straight cash. I wouldnt be surprised if he charges back his $600 donation to tf2OP. Either way $600 is small price to pay for all the items this guy has got scamming off of people. He will just filter them through alt to accounts and other scammer and then people who know the system and trade with scammers. Then they will be out in the market again and this guy will make a killing. Truly sad, I wish more could have been done earlier, unfortunately it is too late for anyone who has traded with him and trades with him until he is marked. Honestly, Valve and Paypal should both suspend his account immediately and he should face fraud charges imo.

Unfortunately I did not document the trade as well as I should have. But considering the sheer # of people who received chargebacks from him, I think it's pretty clear that he's guilty.

Thing is, I met him in November I believe, he had never done cash trades. He seemed like a friend, we talked in steam chat all the time and he was a really nice guy. When Christmas came around he told me he really wanted to buy the blizzardy team captain with his christmas money, I was for it as I trusted him. He also wanted to buy some more of my hats and he was offering a pretty nice price, so I took it. I was the only one he did cash trades with at the time, but I saw him doing more. I got to thinking remembering left4life and that big chargeback scam. I then saw his big donation to TF2OP and thats when my heart dropped and I was just waiting for this day to happen. And here we are :/

Can you supply an uncensored, uncropped, full page screenshot of the PayPal transaction AND the inventory history? You may censor your Steam login name.

No, the inventory screenshot needs to be the FULL page, with the URL and what not. You can censor your login name.

i told pretender and jon and raiku[mct] all i knew about him i gave them all the info i had and at the time even though i did not have the hard evidence i knew he was bs. he offered to pay 1400 cash for a hat i was only asking 1266 for.i was told all we could do is wait for him to show his true side so today i am happy to see him here.

As I stated to hatman, I never meant to chargeback only the reprocutions from the guy who used my card info caused my credit card company to raise suspicion.
They cut off any payments made with the same card as I said in the imgur picture.
I will keep to my word and repay in full as soon as a new credit card and debit card come in. Same goes for Jewman, we spoke too.

I can confirm that I spoke to Gangster Hitler and he's working to get things straightened out.
