MY STEAM ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HIJACKED. IT IS NOT ME ON THIS ACCOUNT RIGHT NOW. I went out for a day trip today and when I arrived home my account was logged out. I tried to log in but it said that the password was invalid. I tried a few times and it continually said invalid password. When I tried to send a new password to my email I got an email saying that my Steam Accounts Email address has been successfully changed. That email disappeared from my inbox and my trash box almost immediately after I got it. This leads me to believe that my computer has a virus of some sort. I have no Idea how I got it but I did.

Forte contacted me earlier today, looking to sell craft 33s cheap. I paid via paypal, and here's the payment info. I didn't keep a chatlog, because I didn't know he'd been hijacked. I should have realized that that was entirely too cheap.

I talked to the purchaser of the larrikin robin with eerie. apparently the hijacker sold it for $29 which as you all know is WAY LESS than the value of an eerie robin. Both Himself and Juss' Pope (purchasers of MY hijacked items) have my permission to charge back their money.

I am glad I didn't click the link that "you" sent me. It was some type of fake imgur cookieanal link. I just lol'd and closed the chat.

Please send a screenshot of the support ticket showing that you are working to a resolution of this.

The hijacker has restored my password. This is a folder of where my hats and such went. The hacker responding to my email and a conversation with someone who could potentially be the hacker OR someone the hacker is trying to scapegoat

I don't know why he has restored my password, however. it doesn't make any sense... But either way I the scammer tag will remain until my steam support ticket resolves.

My friend Griffulz http://steamcommunity.com/id/xgrifx/ was hacked. I didn't know until AFTER I had already lost control of my account. He sent me a link to a picture of a fortune cookie fortune. 2 or 3 days ago. Yesterday when I got home from my road trip I was logged out of steam. I tried to log in and found I was logged on in two locations. I tried to put in my password to log out the other location but the password was incorrect. The password was changed. I then tried to send a new password to my email. but I saw I had an email saying that my email address was successfully changed. This email disappeared from my inbox right before my very eyes... The hacker had remote access to my computer. After running a scan I had 15 virus' including a lot of trojan and a keylogger.

The hacker sold some of my items via PAYPAL to my friends on steam. the hacker's email is [email protected] I emailed him asking him to please restore my account's password. First thing that surprised me was he actually responded and said he would restore the password. Second thing he did was actually restore the password which surprised me even MORE >.O!

hello, this is http://steamcommunity.com/id/xgrifx/ and my account as been hacked as well my mouse was moving while i didn't allow it to and it might have been a virus, keylogger, javascript, worm or something along the lines of that once they changed all my information and disabled steam guard my computer shut off and apraprently an image was sent to all my friends with a virus and a keylogger my tf2 items are all gone i assume that is all they wanted so DO NOT click anything sent by this account thanks
