hi I have the user added on the account because I wanted to purchase a game from the user , but I actually never removed the user from friends list and today the user sends me this phising link that many might recognize this like a highjacking attempt

there is a misspelling on steam and it takes me to a url page that asks me to login to steam

I am sure it is not an impersonator because I can click on steam app to go to his profile and it shows me the users profile and I can check his profile on web browser

so the user cant say he was being impersonated , the only thing I can think of is that the user was highjacked and I believe that the user needs to have proof such like a steam report saying he was highjacked

the user has great rep actually higher rep then me , but this time I repeat either the user was highjacked or is a scammer , there might be other possibilitys but I was not talking to an impersonator

the user got highjacked andi will be removing this report because I did check the steam comments and the user contacted me and it does make sense that the user was highjacked because the user has great rep and the comments on steam say the user was highjacked

I marked that account for phishing with the note that it may be a hijacked account.
