What happened? Description:

The tale of the Unusual Aces High Old Guadalajara (Level 9) continues.

If you've seen two of my previous reports, you'll know that I've been scammed out of an Unusual hat, and I've been doing my best to keep tabs on it ever since.

Said hat disappeared from the inventory of 76561198103514666 soon after the report I made against him was accepted.

However, said hat was found again on the TF2Outpost, being sold by the victim (I've provided a screenshot and a link[1]. Yes, I did comment.)

So, from there, I friended him, and proceeded to converse with him. I'll provide the transcript of the conversation in both screenshot and textual format.

Within it, you will find that the victim has traded with the accused the same scammed hat.

To support how the accused may have received the what was once my Unusual Hat, note that his friends list includes both the original scammer's account, and another that I'm currently reporting as an alt: 76561198091218766 (both as of February 9, 2014 6:04PM UTC-05:00)

If I need to provide any more evidence, or if the victim needs to step forward, let me know.

Note: I do not have reason to believe that the victim was aware of the fact that the hat was previously in the possession of a scammer, as he was on a trade server at the time, and is unlikely to have reason to distrust an admin.​

I'm still trying to figure this out. So you reported me for trading YOUR scammed hat? I bought the hat for a 1 bud hat since the guad was a new effect. Then sold it for 1 bud and like 6-8 keys, don't really remember. I don't see the problem? Your reporting everyone who lays a hand on it. Try and talk to the people before you jump to conclusions. How did i know it was scammed? You can add me to talk, (I already added you). Thanks for reading this.

I'm not trying to start an argument. i just randomly saw this when i checked steam-rep to tell someone how long I've been on steam. I had the hat for like 1 hour, and i get reported..

Looking into the accused's claims that he bought the hat, I found that there was a 1-bud worth hat in the inventory of 76561198091218766, as seen here: http://backpack.tf/id/76561198091218766?time=1391932800 (this was on the 9th of February.)

I... decided that it would be best to speak with him. For the sake of convenience, I'm just going to post a transcript of the conversation we had in an uploaded text file, though I can still provide screenshots if that is necessary.

I don't see anything left to pursue in this report, besides a caution for Taylor2424 according to the guidelines that he did trade with a marked scammer unwittingly.
