I am posting this on behalf of my friend, as he wants this guy tagged ASAP, and since I have filled out these forms before, he asked me to do so.

The chat between the two of us that explains how Greeper met the scammer:

Greeper: Well I had a trade on outpost and he added me
Greeper: He then ask if I sold the unusual, and I said no
Greeper: He traded me and added the buds and weapons
Greeper: he told me to add 6 crates
Greeper: So when I added the crates, he removed the buds and we both traded

Unfortunately, he did not think to get a screenshot of the trade itself, as he did not realize he had been scammed until afterwards when he wished to show me the Earbuds. Hopefully the trade history will be enough to show this, as well as the fact the guy asked him to add some crates as a distraction.
I also went and found the last known owner of the buds (According to backpack.tf) is the person I listed above as a possible alt. Considering the buds are one of the few things in the scammer's backpack, I would think he had traded them from an alt. Unsure if the buds were traded to another account and then the scammer's account, or directly from the listed account, or if the listed account is even involved, but I figured I'd include it anyways. I'll keep an eye on the unusual and buds to see if they get traded to another account.
His name was changed while I was typing this out, it was "gl and have fun" while they were trading.

Both Greeper and I have been keeping an eye on the unusual that was stolen, the Cosa Nostra, and it just appeared on this account:

This account also has another unusual I noticed in the original scammer's inventory before he made it private, a Fetti Hotdogger, which strongly leads me to believe this account here is the guy's main. That, or this guy just so happened to buy both unusuals off the scammer. Quite a few of the unusuals he owns have been obtained very recently, some within the same timeframe as when Greeper's unusual and the Hotdogger were traded over (As shown by backpack.tf: http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198045535036)
