foint* posted on my traded telling me to add his friend. He claimed his friend wanted to buy one of my hats. I've had to deal with misspelled links before, but this one was obviouse. He wrote "steamconnmunity.com" instead of steamcommunity.com. I guess the two "n"s were meant to look like an m. Once I pointed this out to him, he immediately hid the post (literally the second I posted it). You can still click on his message to see what he wrote on my trade (I will provide the link if needed, it should be in my screenshot anyways).

Sadly he did the same thing for me, silly me fell for it but got my account back intime before he could get to play with it :/ Hope to see this guy get banned

The same thing was linked from a user with 0 trades, yet >50 posts.

Hmmm, looked at his inventory, seems like he transfered all the items he might have scammed to another account.

Unless you already have, make another report for it. The more the better. You can use some of my info you need to.

On topic of that account, i found this on HIS trade

I found and posted that earlier too. He is also the only friend on that guy's account. foint* possibly could have been hijacked by that guy. It's all pretty weird.

I actually was able to find an account he transferred my friends hat to. Made a thread.
My friend has lost his hat and the next person to receive that hat was an account named Noah :3 that was friends with foint*
Noah has around 9 buds last time I checked.
Hopefully we can get these phishers banned.

Note: Both of those users we pointed out have been banned from outpost for Phishing. These reports have gone somewhere at least

You have to login and stuff and after that nothing really happnds, i never save my history so im normaly not logged in on the REAL steam website soooo
