Description:
Murdoc added me as a friend and offered me $40 AUS for my Unusual Ol'snaggletooth hat. We discussed it till we came to an agreement for $60. I offered to go first since i had no steam op rep, seeing as this was the first time i've considered trading for real money.
I traded the hat to MURDOC and they imidiatly blocked their account and went offline. this was yesterday the 16/02/13.
Today, I came into contact with a friend of MURDOC and organised a trade for my unusual back, so i have the item back now but had to trade off a bunch of my other items. (i have pics of the chats to get my item back and the trade, ready if requested).
this is my first time trying to trade for money, this has turned me completely off the concept.

i talked to
L^ ✨KϟC✨.

he was helping Murdoc sell my Unusual hat (L^||K C|| was unaware that it was scammed)
i found him through http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/8688154 , i added him as a friend and talked to him
here are screenshots of our chat
he got me in contact with murdoc and also convinced murdoc to trade it back to me

I accepted the trade and went with what they said so i could cut my losses

i traded back for my stolen hat and now have it in my possession -

i can link you to my item and it shows that murdoc did have it and that he now has all the items i traded for the unusual hat back, in his backpack
