I was on TF2 Outpost looking to buy an item had created a trade request as usual the person added me though was not able to contact them until earlier today. They had said to either send a trade offer or trade directly, I did the former put up a ref for an item and sent assuming that was how it worked. Ended up being scammed because they accepted the offer but did not counter the offer and lied about it not being there.
