Heyo, I've been a trader since 2012's Christmas, I earned all of my items/hats by trading through outpost or backpack.tf, Blue Waves added me yesterday, I got some sort of trust since he was a common friend with Diskein, a trusted friend of mine.

He asked me today if I could give him certain items for him to use for an screenshot, so I did gave him the items with the conscent that I checked his profile and noted the +reps on the comment section, thats when he started to get weird.... refusing to give the items back in time, or just being plain annoying when you talked about it, he then set his backpack visibility to private and a status to avoid all trades, he joined TF2 and immediatly joined an Unusual Server, most likely to sell the items, Diskein immediatly joined to alert the server to refuse any trades from this guy.

1st time getting scammed, here are some screenshots of the little piece of whats left from the chat logs and the item history before he deleted me and blocked all communications with me:

Hello, we need the actual screenshot of the chat to prove your claims.

We don't have those screenshots, since the chatlogs were lost before he deleted us and blocked everything, we copy/pasted exactly the only thing we were able to grab...

Also all of the +reps he has are just fake or alts, so does the "anti-scam" group.


I was talking with Chancellor Puddinghead since he's pretty close to you Sjru, I told exactly the same things that are on this thread, and he got a chance to have a trade with him, the scammer offering the 3 unusuals... this is what he said:

He recently changed his name to vitalycool and set his whole profile in private... hope this clears out something

Couldn't you just trace the source of the unusuals and find out that it was all a fake.
Only if Gring-O says he did uncrate those. That would be a better way to find out.

you can always check Gring-O's backpack history on many pages, backpack.tf is more detailed and you can clearly see how over time he uncrated/traded the unusuals by checking the saved caches backpack.tf has. See how everything is being proven wrong on the side of Blue's?

So, when can action be taken before the guy decides to sell everything, and delete his account?

- You can trace Gring-O's backpack since the beggining, even since he was F2P

- You can prove how this Blue Waves guy is proving himself wrong

- You can clearly see Chancellor got an scam attempt

- You can clearly see how he struggled on the copy/pasted logs

- You can clearly see the Trade History

- You can clearly see all the fraudalent +reps to trick people, Im pretty sure you are spanish and can read the time difference between each comment.

- You can relate the "Screenshot" question in both gring's and chancellors situations


I'm not really sure what else to post, because this is pretty much what has happened today.
I have nothing to be in the scene, but Im willing to help my buddies in the most honest way possible.

And its way too obvious he is willing to trade them before he gets caught.

After additional research, I have enough evidence to mark him with a scammer tag. In addition, he previously tried to do the same thing to another person. Thank you for the report- he is marked.
