He randomly added me and offered to buy my hat. He showed me a reputation thread and it was very convincing. I then looked at his profile and the profile on the thread. Though very similar, they were not identical. The "Beanie" who added me was obviously impersonating the real Beanie. I was lucky to catch little details such as the fact that the real beanie has screenshots, has different previous nicknames, and has a different url.

Same guy scammed me, the bastard

Yeah I almost fell for it. Luckily for me, I've had several people try to scam me before (luckily, none have succeeded in scamming me) so I'm extremely paranoid and do a lot of research on the person who is trying to trade with me.

Just posting here, this is the real me, and this is the 2nd time this crap happened to me. But, glad the report's being taken cared off, and being looked at.
