So, this guys offered me 150$ for my hat, i thought he had a good rep, after the trade i went to see the people who did rep him and were a lot of lvl 1 accounts from tf2, probably all fake rep.
He got my unusual and i didnt get the money.
Will i get my unusual again??

He can be marked, but there's no way to get the Unusual back, unless you convince him.

Okay, so I'm just taking over my brother's account and this is me just finding out about this. I talked to my brother and he says that he did not scam this guy at all.

By looking at the evidence provided this guy makes no effort whatsoever to let my brother know the money wasn't sent through, not one single message sent after telling him this. Also, if my brother was planning on scamming, why the heck would he generously offer some extra gifts, if he was going to get the unusual for nothing, why would he give away his games too!?

I'm presuming since this was this guys first unusual, he thought he'd try report my brother, and try get the unusual back, from the start of the report, he was asking for it, so maybe he presumed he'd get it back for free and make $150 profit from all of this. And those paypal history screenshots were probably taking before the money was sent or perhaps he deleted his history (if that's possible).

Basically, I'm wanting to try to get into trading and just a few mins ago a guy wouldn't trade with me because of this report, it's been almost a year since this was made and I guess since my brother took a break from trading he didn't really know about it or didn't care someone wanted to give him bad cred. I want this removed, my brother was innocent and I am very much innocent myself!

So, after 1 year the guy added me and explained what happened with his brother scamming me and his taking control of the account, i don't know if thats possible, but could you guys please close this? he gave my hat back and the new owner of the acc never really scammed me

Yeah, I'm really sorry about what happened, just to point out it was a hat worth around the same value of the hat he previously had, he agreed that it'd be fine if I gave him that hat, I just really wanted to sort this out and after looking into this for a second time I realized I had missed a few things.
