What happened? Description:

Accused added me, offering 19 buds on a Green Confetti Virtual Viewfinder I currently own. I noticed that he had no TF2 items, and had reason to believe he was a scammer. He then asked me to trade my Viewfinder to a friend, so that he could "verify the item was real". At this point, I knew him to be a scammer.

I traded the item to a close personal friend, who fully understood this type of scam. Sure enough, he added my friend with a fake profile impersonating me and tried to get him to trade the Viewfinder to him.

Needless to say, he didn't get anything.

One note: After he added my friend and started imping, I changed my name to a previously agreed upon safeword ("Shalashaska") so that my friend could more easily tell the difference between the real me and the scammer.​

One thing I forgot is the scammer's alt's SteamID link.
