So I had a question about "Marked For Scam". I have a cousin that played TF2 but now that he has a job he quit he offered me his items but he said that he was marked for scam. So I wanted to ask what would happen if he gave me them would I be marked? I'm not sure how i can prove or if there even is a way to prove I'm not just a Alt. If someone could help me out with this it would be great, thanks!

    Hello @Skele,

If its high valued items, you better let it go.

    Trading with a scammer:
    - All real world money trades
    - all unusuals
    - items including buds & max heads
    - Value above a bills (soon to be changed)

    first time: Warning
    Second time: Caution
Third time: Scammer tag, but also if its sufficiƫnt high value in trading.
Knowingly trading with a marked scammer is skipping 1 step.

For about Alts, see this part:
