    Appeal description:
I am appealing as suggested by Horsedick from the Wicked After Life community. I figured I could try to get this caution removed considering the consequences of the tagging. I chose the change of heart thing because its the only one that made sense to use in my appeal. I was tagged for saying I scammed essentially while on AF2 Trade server while other players talked about basically deals they got that where really good. For some reason I thought that was a good idea. Back when CS:GO was in beta this guy asked me if I had beta keys so I told him I did and he gave me his TF2 inventory and I would send him the key. I did not have a beta key. So he contacted steam support and got his items back while I got steam trade banned for 2 weeks and had a probation that felt like it lasted forever. After that I decided that scamming was a bad idea. I had always thought that it was a bad idea but I never thought that valve would intervene. Now that I know the consequences of doing so I plan on never scamming again. Its quite difficult to provide evidence for this because my account on AF2 is not working and there forums seem half broken all of the time. My report was posted by Tootis. He got me tagged with his post. He was on the server when I said I had scammed someone. After he tagged me I just quit TF2 and figured I'd find a different game. I decided one day to check and see what was happening at AF2 and TF2 in general. I saw that Tootis was banned from the forum and no one seemed to want to tell me what happened. Tootis was cocky and seemed as if he was trying to impress someone by getting me tagged. That however is beside the point. I trade all the time now and my caution is never really a problem but I would like to see it removed. I used to have a SourceOP Rep thread but I cannot seemed to find it and it appears that SourceOP doesn't do TF2 stuff anymore. I selected I repaid my victims because shortly after scamming him he went to steam support and got his items back. I then added him on steam and apologized profusely. After chatting with him I found out he lived near me. I think at least from what I understood is that we where both happy with the outcome. I did not get away with scamming this 1 person for his crappy inventory. So why would I scam again. If anyone could find my report on AF2 or my old rep thread on SourceOP that would be great. Thanks. I will be happy to help in any way that I can.

I know for a fact this Caution Tag is bullshit because of the simple fact that AcesGamer downed it to caution. If really thought I was a "scammer" out to get everyone I would still be tagged that way. I'm not and I've traded in TF2 on this very account. Having this caution just makes getting cash trades more difficult. Especially at this point to where I just want to buy the cosmetics I want and play the game. Hopefully this post has more priority due to its age.

I headed to Ace Fortress 2.com and attempted to find the thread http://acefortress.com/threads/af2-combustible-lemons-76561198043225187-updated.13527 but was unable to. This Caution should be removed because of the 2016 Policy for "Defunct Communities". Only question is when I guess at this point. I understand SteamRep admins are very busy due to the volume of request recieved so I understand the time it takes to process these reports. I am sorry if I come off demanding in these posts. I am just frustrated that I have not yet received an answer.

We do appreciate your honesty in this situation. In light of the time passed since your tag was issued, your appeal approaching 2 years, and that I am unable to find any other offenses committed by your account, and our procedures for defunct community tags, I have decided to grant your change-of-heart appeal and remove the tag entirely. In the future, be very careful and open/honest in your transactions, and keep good records of large transactions in case there are any disputes. If we find another scamming-related offense from this account or any of your alts, we will not be as lenient or forgiving, and your chances of another successful apppeal will be almost impossible.
