Beware if you use www.tf2wh.com 02/21/13

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet but:

The trading site www.tf2wh.com has some bugs with it right now. Any logged in user can sometimes see themselves "logged in" as another user but in fact they aren't logged in as that user, the site jumps you to another user that is logged in and displays their profile for some odd reason. Along with this, people can see your credits/debits and your trade chat window as a result. Because they can also see the trade chat window, they are able to see your "safe word" on the site. Be careful of any scammers that try to impersonate the tf2wh's bots.

The above user is currently using warehouse to do this. I wasn't scammed by him because I didn't have any active trades, but I added him to see what he would say in trade chat and he gave me my safe word exactly. So if you are using warehouse be warned.

This also is not a post to report the scammer, since I forgot to take screenshots of the trade chat and my tf2wh page I can't report him. This is just a thread to warn people of using warehouse.

Seems it's an issue with their website update. But I would still be careful of scammers who use this information to try to impersonate bots.

Oh my, this seems pretty serious if safewords are being compromised. Multiple instances of impersonation of a WH bot should be enough for a mark on SR. An Admin should be alerted to this right away.

If you file an actual report, an admin can look at it. Can't do it from general chat.

Thought I'd update:

Actually you don't have to be logged in to see other people's data. Apparently people can just cycle through the main tool bar up top on the website and occasionally it shows a different user. So basically ANYONE, can see people's trade chat window, their upper profile information and the safe word of those who are logged in.

tf2wh has solved their issues described in this topic within a day. If its about that issue back then, fine, but thats not a base for any decision or trust issues. For a more recent issue you didn't include details or what the problem currently is.

I've had many a chat with triddin, and they where fast to listen, learn and going forward to implement in how they saw it fit. I hear no real issues about them anywhere around.
