(You can also learn more about this & discuss this at the Dota 2 Traders news post about the event!)Dota 2 Traders has joined forces with DotaCinema, r/dota2trade, [+]SteamRep, and TF2Outpost to put together a charity event and do some good as the DotA2 community as a whole! As a group, we present to you the DotA 2 Charity Invitational: Heroes Helping Heroes. The tournament begins on Saturday February 9th at 12:00PM (noon) EST and will run until a winner is decided! The tournament itself is an eight (8) team invite only single elimination team 1v1 tournament. The teams who have been invited are a mix of pro teams, valve staff, and famous members of the DotA 2 community! We invite you all to come out and watch and see how they fare against each other! DotaCinema will be casting the entire event and we will be giving out prizes all day to random viewers! As a bonus to anyone who donates, they will be eligible for larger 'grand prizes!' For anyone feeling particularly generous or who wants to get a head start on the donating, all monetary donations are being accepted HERE (http://justgiving.com/dota2). Anyone can donate whatever amount they want at any time, starting now! Just remember to include the link to your [+]SteamRep page in the donation message so we know how to find you if you win a prize!
