Facebook now allows payment through FB Messenger

No way to reverse payments within facebook. No fees. Directly debit card to debit card, no credit cards or paypal support.

well, its relevant, for we'll eventually will see cases with people doing payments with them.

Problem is you will have to either create a new account purely for online transactions, or use your own Facebook account to trade... I personally would not like to share too much information on the internet with strangers.

True, but it would ensure more security for a seller.... And one shares their name already with paypal etc. (well, if verified)

A lot of people don't realize that their email already links to their facebook.

My name, facebook and home address are known by almost 100 people in the /r/hardwareswap community. It's not that big of a deal to me. I have decent security, and if anyone is dumb enough to try anything I can get them sent to jail. The only issue I have is the occasional prank package, I've gotten 30 cubic feet of packing peanuts sent to me in the last three months.
