My report was invalid due to a lack of chat evidence.
See, the problem is, I thought he was a trusty person and a friend of mine.
But one day, while still holding my nunhood and ze goggles, he unfriended and blocked me. I guess that was his plan all along. Get close enough until I trusted him enough to lend him stuff, then quietly slip off so I can't retrieve chat history.

Dude's an ass. Changed his name to "ran" after the incident and is still freely trading. Found his trade the other day and commented http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/28558297#p65180446. He said I was "harassing/spamming". It greatly disturbs me that he's still running around like nothing has happened.

His alt accounts have all been either reported or trade banned.

Would a chat history of me asking him to return the Nunhood land him a ban? Cause if that is the case, all I have to do is add him back somehow. Unfortunately he's blocked and unfriended me and most of the friends in his friend list.
On the day it happened, a friend of mine had a mutual friend with the Accused. So he asked him to question him. And after 3 years of being Steam friends with the Accused, the mutual friend was blocked and unfriended for questioning about this issue.

    Any advice? Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

In all seriousness, the initial agreement is the most vital part of any report. How can you prove someone has broken a promise if we can't even prove what the promise was? If he was marked, all it would take is for him to appeal and make up a random story, then it's simply his word vs yours.

Learn from your mistakes, and in future, always keep records of such trades.

Well, the only thing I thought of at the time of the broker was to put "For broker" in the trade message. As it was a small hat, I did not take too much caution.

Also, I have Steam Mobile. And I have the chat saved on the mobile log. However, I am unfriended and blocked by him. All I have to do is add him as a friend somehow. I will be able to gather the chat evidence this way.

Without the original trade agreement there isn't much you can do. You are blocked and removed by 'm you say and that requires 2 actions from him to get to talk between you and him again (unblock and accept friend request). Admission often doesn't convey the trade agreement for our evidence based policies.

You tell he's using Outpost, report him there, and point to your report here. Communities may ban on their sites/servers etc for whatever reason they see fit. We have no say on that. We only limit the reasons here on Outpost they can ban for and need proper evidence to back those up.
