    Scam Report

Report Type: [Accomplice] Trading with marked scammers or hijackers
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561197960788095

    Victim profile: 76561198056555065

    What happened? Description:
Like 2 weeks after I last reported CreamyGoodness for buying from an obvious scammer he has done it again. He has purchased a godtier burning bubble pipe from a hijacker/fence.

The user is permanently banned from outpost for doing so, but since SteamREP no longer tags hijackers he does not have an SR tag http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/56324

It is quite obvious over the past two weeks that creamy truly doesn't care one bit who he trades with.

If this is not a violation, please just archive this report and have it taken into account for future infractions.

    Provide Evidence:
    http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2848948645,538,5
    http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2848948671,359,5
    http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2848948686,30336,5
    http://www.tf2outpost.com/item/440,2848948659,252,5

The burning bubble pipe is no longer in creamy's backpack, though. Perhaps because he is trying to hide the fact he committed a trade with another fraudulent user. I will look for the TF2OP history of the item and try to follow up.

Would like to add that if creamy found directingmgamer through backpack.tf he should have seen the user had -rep marks on backpack.tf for fencing and hijacking as well. He should have absolutely seen this as there is an exclamation warning regarding this user's backpack.tf reputation status seen in these photograph. THis warning is similar to the one on steamrep that has pending reports.

As requested by Mattie, here is where I got the inventory history I used as evidence. It was uploaded by directingMgamer, himself to backpack.tf when he tried to submit a price change, which was rejected, on backpack.tf http://backpack.tf/vote/id/53e382a34ed7b8df318b4872

The price change was rejected because he was a known fence and creamy's purchase does not reflect an accurate price on the hat because many other users who would have paid more (myself included) did not go for the hat, because the user was known to partake in fraudulent activity.

I can confirm that at the time of sale, my Steamrep was clean. I was marked 15 hours ago and this sale took place 24 hours ago at the time of posting.

To clarify-- I asked Forte to explain the cropped screenshot he included as evidence in the initial post. It was a contextless pic of the trade history and it didn't make sense why he had it. I told him to explain how he obtained the screenshot since he wasn't involved in the trade. Looks like Forte added that explanation above.

This case will be investigated by one of our Reports admins-- I'm not making any judgment on this case.

Not quite sure if this is relevant, but I think it could be.

Outpost has found CreamyGoodness guilty and has permanently banned him from their website for these offenses www.tf2outpost.com/user/59253

The question I have on this is, How was this an obvious scammer / fence? The person was banned from outpost in march for being a fence but no tag was added to the account. I check SR anytime that I do a high value trade but I have never checked OP or bp.tf for any rep. The only reports I can find against the person he traded with were marked invalid and archived. So if this isn't a personal issue where is the proof it was OBVIOUS?

2 weeks prior to this report a report was submitted against CreamyGoodness for trading with a user who had 3 pending reports and was banned by outpost. Given that report and the fact Xenos (the user he traded with) had been permanently banned from outpost for quite some time, creamy should have known to check outpost, and that scammer tags were not exactly reliable ways to check reputation, due to backlog, among other things.

Creamy found this user with his backpack.tf premium, where it is clearly shown he has - reputation http://backpack.tf/trust/76561198056555065. It mentions his Outpost ban for laundering scammed goods.

I'm not sure how you know he found this user with bp.tf, or if it's speculation (If you'd like to explain that). The main thing is nobody checks outpost for rep. I don't know many people who use bp.tf for anything rep related either.

I know I always check outpost for rep, many traders check outpost for rep, given the SR backlog. I can actually list off 3 users off the top of my head who have refused to trade with me, not because of my caution tag, but because of my own outpost ban. I cannot do the same for users who have refused to trade with me based on my caution tag.

Before the trade with creamy occurred, directingmgamer advertised the burning bubble pipe on backpack.tf according to testimonies I have collected. As he did not advertise it on outpost, the only way one could have seen him selling it was through this website, where he had clearly visible -reputation. This can be confirmed, if backpack.tf admins have access to previous advertisement logs. IF creamy did not happen to find him through the advertised trade, how would he have found him, one might ask?

The answer lies still with backpack.tf

Here is how we know he would have used backpack.tf. http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197960788095 The accused clearly has has paid for monthly premium service which allows him to find unusual hats from their unboxers or new owners of a given unusual within hours of their unboxing, whether or not they are posted on outpost or another trading site. All that is required is that the unboxer has a public backpack. It also allows you to search for any unusual with any given effect.

Here are some other valuable hats creamy has obtained through finding users through this premium backpack.tf service.

uncrated this scorching flames HWNN http://www.tf2items.com/item/266876309 yet days after, he has traded it to creamy, despite never advertising it. Creamy added him on June 23rd, 3 days after this item became public database, http://imgur.com/dT85vtX

uncrated a burning flames Voodoo Juju and within hours was added by creamy, despite never advertising it on any website http://backpack.tf/item/2601310600.

The list goes on and on, I could provide at least 10 examples more (if you would like) where creamy has purchased hats from users who do not use trading websites, by finding them on backpack.tf as that is the only method they COULD be found. I will attempt to provide more evidence in the coming days, but I have to head of to class, so consider this post possibly half complete, depending on if I can or cannot find more evidence. I am curious also, why creamy has not testified to having never seen any of these reputation tarnishing blemishes on DirectingMgamer's profiles.

TL;DR there is no other possible method Creamy could have found the burning bubble pipe by, other than backpack.tf and he is an absolute avid user of the website.

keep tooting your own horn forte - less chatter and more MATTER thanks. d0 told me about it / but no need to tell a know-it-all now is there? you should focus on your own self but it's just not possible is it? i use backpack.tf YES, not like you imply and twist it to fit your demented idea that i am a scammer or dirty trader though. i have a lot of people on my FL that YES do say - hey interested in a "HAT" - friend just unboxed one. like iso did last night on the burning warpig.

Where's the proof? using bp.tf isn't illegal? SR close this / reject this thread please and save us ALL TIME, thank you. there's plenty of ways i find hats - none of which is ANY of your scammer business*

I don't understand why you're mad at me. I haven't committed any crime, unlike you. I have simply written a report and you are commenting with raging replies. I have supplied evidence of each and every one of my claims.

I never implied anything about your use of backpack.tf. My statement was as follows. You use backpack.tf premium to search for hats or view their profiles and when viewing DirectingMGamers profile you completely ignored his reputation. I never said you scammed anyone or sharked anyone using a premium service. Just that you use it and I gave evidence to show such usage

If I'm a scammer please submit a report on me elsewhere, otherwise keep your slander and defamation of character like claims to yourself. I have no ill will towards you. If you didn't misbehave I never would have filed any reports. You aren't above the law and if you make a mistake that's on you. Not me.

Everything I have posted on this thread has been absolutely relevant and based on evidence which I have supplied.

Both of the accounts Creamy traded with are now marked on SR. If they weren't scammers (fences, hijackers) you obviuosly wouldn't have marked them. I don't know the exact circumstances that led to their tag being added, that's something you can find out, but just because they had no tag, doesn't mean they were safe to trade with. If that was the case, we could close shop, given the problems SR has with processing reports.

You also need to take into consideration the last report about Creamy, that found him guilty of "risking his reputation", just weeks before he made the trade that this report is about. Why he wasn't officially cautioned last time is baffling, but ultimately your decision. The fact is that he traded with (now) tagged users twice, without regard for the rules. That's why we banned him on OP.

It would be a travesty, if you were to dismiss this report as casually as the last one, simply because, for whatever reason, your tags weren't up in time.

OH - op mod chimes in here too - lovely. BOTH of you - POST THE PROOF, nobody except yourselves likes to hear either of you talk. In short, Put up or shut up.

The travesty is the perception of collusion with outpost and forte* truly. nice to see you all care so much, it's simple here - POST the proof. Forte you've been asked to do so, but still haven't. Sirploko as this isn't outpost and no evidence posted on from you - feel free to exit or read the admins post above.

Tired of posts with no evidence - again i'll ask the SR admins to close this thread please.

"Everything I have posted on this thread has been absolutely relevant and based on evidence which I have supplied."
in your own mind - yes forte.

you post and accuse me in SR for wrong doings - when 99% if not 100% is just you venting and spewing what you think is right. NOT your determination. I'll say what all others won't.... as i'm done talking with you or to you. YOU USE SR as a voice and so desperately try to fit in... why? SR is the ONLY place your butt is NOT banned out from. Why they put up with you is not for me to answer.

Done posting on this thread. provide the evidence and stop asking for it*
