    What happened? Description:
    This individual added me and asked to buy my unusual. I agreed. He said he wanted to make sure it was clean and asked if I could give it to a friend I could trust. I said I would. He asked for the friends name, I gave it to him, and he made a group chat with me, himself, and my friend. Except it wasn't my friend. I told the guy it wasn't my friend and he acted confused. And then requested I send my unusual hat to my friend and he'll look in his backpack. I traded my friend. The guy said he would add my friend to check his inventory. He did and made a group chat with my friend and me. BUT IT WASN'T ME. It was a fake me. He then asked my friend to send the hat back to this fake me but my friend did not. After his plan didn't work, the guy deleted both of us.

    tl;dr This individual used a third account to impersonate my friend (A cucumber with anxiety). When that didn't work he tried to use that same account to impersonate me and get my item from my friend.

    Thanks - issue is I can't confirm you were ever friends with this exact user by SteamID - all I see is a chat box with a name and profile image. Need to verify this and you can do that with a screenshot of your activity - when you take this and it shows you adding the user hover your mouse pointer over the users name so it shows the popup of the profile. Make sure you have the Steam Client URL enabled before doing anything. Take the screenshot and make sure it's Full Screen and make sure steam client URL is enabled, not edited or cropped in anyway!
