Archived Report: 76561198012837091 (Jailbait)

This is not exactly a scammer report but I wasnt sure where else to post this.

Basically an impersonator of Jailbait (http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198061697597) added me sometime in the last few days for whatever reason (he/she hasn't talked to me at all yet) and the real Jailbait (http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198012837091) added me this morning. He threatened me to remove the impersonator or he would have me marked as a scammer. I asked him repeatedly for any rule that states you can't be friends with a marked person, lest yourself become marked as a scammer. Below is the full convo. Basically I just want to know what is the official opinion on this from the steamrep admins. I dont believe anybody has the authority to choose who you can or can't be friends with.

I'm not sure how SteamRep stands on this, but WHY would you keep the fake Jailbait in your friends list? I see no advantage in doing so.

Jailbait might come across as intense, but he has the right intentions. I see no purpose of holding a fake version of Jailbait in your friend's list. He is just trying to keep you safe.

I had no intentions of keeping the impersonator in my friends list until somebody said I was forced not to.
The main point was I shouldn't be threatened to be marked as a scammer if I have broken no rules.

no, we don't mark people if they have friends scammer.

A high-quantity of scammer friends may warrant a Caution tag though - that is about it.
