    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [None] No items

    Accused profile: 76561198016363821

    Victim profile: 76561198025539591

    What happened? Description:
I got a friend request, confirmed it and received a message that this person wanted to trade. The username at that time was laker with a picture of a panda (Gets relevant later).
The person then sends a odd link. Havent seen that kind of link so tried to google it and with no real results I tried entering only the name of the site. The link then went further to a google doc file, a .src file.

All this is already suspicious. I told the person I werent really comfortable with this odd stuff and he defriended me. I was kinda curious though so tried to friend him again and kept an eye on his account.

    Today I say this: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198016363821
His name and picture was changed, odd, right?!.
I googled the name and a different account was found, this:
    http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198019127232
After finding out that this dude impersonates this person I realized...what about laker.
    Guess what I found:
    http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197981816272

    The real laker.

So he impersonates others, tried to get me to download and use some weird .src file and is just acting suspicious.

I dont have the chat-log since I didnt give it much though right at that time.
The attached is a picture so you can see what I mean about impersonating others.

    Provide Evidence:
Screenshot of the accused account showing use of "laker" and "[TEG]{}.{} Its a Trap {}.{}" as well as both of the real accounts open to the right.

Do you have screenshots of the chat or any evidence of him impersonating with intent?

I unfortunately dont. But I can provide the link he sent me, or not the link like it looked in the message but the real url that it sends you to.

    Hello, @Alex2life

Unfortunately, the screenshot of the agreement (In written format, such as chat from Steam) is vital for your report.

    As such, I'll archive this.

    Regardless, thanks for reporting!
