What happened? Description:

He offered me Dead Rising 3 for 70 cards. I gave hime 72 and I was told I would get a key. Instead I got a coupon and he stopped responding to me​

Yep, this is a legit scam.

Don't EVER trade for CD keys, ok??

Well I know that NOW...LE sigh . The problem is I am usually good at catching scams pretty quick

You can, however, report the user directly to Valve using the Report Violation feature on the other user's profile. To do so:

1. Visit the accused's profile
2. Click More drop-down located at the top right of the page
3. Choose Report Violation
4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
5. Click Submit Report
