    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [Other] Other game items

    Accused profile: 76561198056520959

    Victim profile: 76561198044204893

    What happened? Description:
    I contacted him via https://www.reddit.com/r/wartrade/comments/3f8sjj/wts_gift_cards_for_plat/

Everything seemed to go well, got in game, agreed to go first. After the trade went through in game, he blocked me and made his profile private.

    Provide Evidence:
[IMG] As you can see, we met via the reddit page, and moved onto discussing the deal on steam. Once in game, he invited me to his clan's dojo, and we did the trade. I even added in some mods to be nice (I don't play anymore) and he disconnected and left afterwards. Blocking me. When I signed onto an alternative account to see if he had blocked me, and asked him why. He made his account private.

Added a picture of the report sent to the developers of Warframe (Where the core was traded), will update with response. Though, I don't expect much as the trade was against their ToS.

After gaining contact for a short time, he called me a 'dumbass for trading on a promise'

    Hello @Kable,

There has been some changes in the policy, and as such, your report will be archived, please read here: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/notice-changes-to-investigation-policy.47952/

    What we don't research anymore:
    • Fakerep reports
      CD Keys/Game Code scam reports
      Spycrabbing reports (server bets)
      Phishing/hijacking account reports

You can, however, report the user directly to Valve using the Report Violation feature on the other user's profile. To do so:

    1. Visit the accused's profile
    2. Click More drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose Report Violation
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click Submit Report

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.

    Regardless, thanks for the report!
