    Scam Report

Report Type: [Accomplice] Trading with marked scammers or hijackers
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198060976608

    Victim profile: 76561198064645544

    What happened? Description:
Traded a Green Confetti Hong Kong Cone with http://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198039571591. This transaction happened more than a year after the scammer was marked and the accused was aware that he was a scammer at the time of the transaction.

-GoV- Lady♡Gyal [REMP] traded a Burning Flames Birdcage for: http://backpack.tf/item/2268995637

This happened before another reported incident for trading with obvious scammer alts here: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/report-76561198060976608-tf2-team-fortress-2-items.80034/ and the accused did not mention anything about this despite it being an offence on a much greater scale - the scammer the accused traded with wasn't even just an obvious scammer alt this time, he had already been marked for a year prior to the trade.

Not only did the accused knowingly trade with the marked scammer, he also made a 100% profit out of that trade - further confirming that the trade was profit driven.

To avoid getting caught, -GoV- Lady♡Gyal [REMP] quicksold the hat for 8 buds: http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/17368072

Please review this report carefully & not just leave off again with a "warning". The accused has obviously been committing such offences for months now, just that no one ever noticed - or did anything notable, at that.

    Provide Evidence:
Item histories, proof of the quicksell, as well as a testimony from a witness of this transaction.

He stated that this sort of behaviour will not be tolerated and Gyal has been warned. 2nd time offence must mean a ban.

Yes, it happened before the latest known incident & proves that he's been doing it for months already without getting caught.

As I said before, this trader has been warned-- if you are intent on getting them cautioned or banned, you're going to need to cite real trade-with-scammer offenses that happen after the warning (or, of course, any actual direct scamming offense). The whole point of such a warning is to mark a point at which SteamRep has confirmed the individual understands the consequences.

This trade occurred before this user was a community admin, so it doesn't raise the "higher bar" considerations (in full) either.

Yet the situation will be noted as evidence for possible trends (that could influence future decisions). If you have more such things, you can share them, but keep in mind that past offenses are reviewed in light of this person just receiving a warning recently.

Please also do not encourage your friends to spam on these threads (i.e. no posting on these reports without their own evidence)-- that makes it look even more like you have some personal axe to grind.
