    What happened? Description:

    He added me saying he wanted to trade pure for my unusuals. He wanted me to trade one of my friends the unusual to see it in another inventory for some reason. Apparently he was trying to add my friend and message him, for which I believe to get him to trade the unusual to him.

    I asked my IRL best friend to help me with this guy's requests because it was an unusual interaction. After looking up the guy's rep on backpack.tf (he had 1 negative for scamming) and on tf2outpost (he was banned for alting) I said I wasn't going to trade. He continued asking my friend if he had the unusual and even changed his profile pic to mine and changed his name and unfriended me after I asked why he did that.

    This guy obviously has no problem making new accounts and scamming people so I think valve should be altered to ban his IP or something.​

    No, SteamRep does not accept links for screenshots and those guys needs to make their own report because writing things like that won't be considered by an admin.

    Do you happen to have any screenshots of the accused trying to trade with either you or your friend? Those would be helpful to us. If not, I will pass this onto the admins.

    We require all evidence to be uploaded to our forums to ensure it doesn't disappear from us later. We need to retain all evidence indefinitely for the purpose of auditing and upholding tags, should the accused later appeal with us. We also require a separate report for each offense.
