What happened? Description:

This guy added me on steam because I was talking about an overpay trade on CSGOLounge for my knife. He then added me and offered me a knife more then the value that I wanted in overpay. He then asked me if I had a friend I could trust. I did, and I informed my friend that he could potentially be a scammer. The scammer added me to a group chat on steam and had his friend impersonate my friend. The scammer then talked to my friend as the accomplice attempted to take my knife. I met the primary scammer through CSGOLounge.​

rereading that i cant belive i didnt trust my gut insticnt when i wanted to back out earlier. im so stupid rip

He attempted to use this account in conjunction with another account (http://steamcommunity.com/id/Rich_54321/) to scam me out of my $100 knife.
He said would over pay for my knife but first I had to send it to a SteamRep.com admin to make sure it wasn't a duplicate.
I asked why as another website, csgoexchange.com, had shown my knife was in fact not a duplicate.
On further investigation, he wasn't friends with any steam rep admin nor did he have a good steam trading reputation.
All the independent reports say pretty much the same thing occurs.
He sends friend request, offers a trade, offers to overpay by far, gets the victim to send to a 'trusted middleman', claims it is duplicated when it is not, never makes a trade back, essentially stealing the item.

Upon searching this little web of deceit further, we come across more and more account attached to the inventory of Rich_54321
