What happened? Description:

I was scammed at around 22:20 CET on December 5 - 2014. I had talked to the user for a while to see how trustable he was, and he insisted that he would not go first, since his Level was 30 and he had many comment upvotes on his profile, and I had to send him my knife first, then he would send me the skin I needed. His profile was a high level one, with many friends, high capacity inventory and many many comment upvotes, so I figured he was a reputable guy. I keep on talking to him for a while, and when I finally trust him, I send him a trade offer with the Flip Knife knife. He then accepts the trade offer and I ask him to send me the skin I needed, and then he deletes and blocks me.

I tried contacting ▲Illuminati▲ again by creating a Steam account with my second email address, then adding him as a friend. However, right when I added him, he immediately blocked me, without knowing who I was, as my username was completely different.

After around 15 minutes, I went to his profile, and saw that he had listed my knife on the Steam Market for 172 euros, even thought the knife is only worth around 90 euros. He most likely did this to hide the knife from me. However, this morning, he took it down and the knife is in his inventory now. I also think it's worth mentioning that he now has another knife worth around 110 euros and an M4A1-S skin worth around 50 euros in his inventory, possibly scammed from other users.

I think this user is new to scamming, as he is Level 30, with 200+ friends, many many hours in games, and many comment upvotes. All the reports of his scamming began coming in from one week ago. I contacted several of his friends, and one of them stated that ▲Illuminati▲ had also scammed him for a 100$ knife. I thought I could trust him, as we had been talking for an hour, and he seemed reputable, especially with his 27 upvotes on csgolounge.com...

Unfortunately, I don't have the chatlog, as right after he blocked me, I panicked went to his profile and tried to see what was going on, and I must've closed the chat windows in the process, and since he had blocked me, I couldn't retrieve the chat log on the client nor on my Steam on my Android phone. I hope this does not stop a scammer from getting away with a 90 euro knife. However, I have taken pictures of everything else. His profile, his market listing for my knife, his inventory after he took down the listing, the new knife and M4A1-S skins he acquired, a picture of where he blocked me when I tried adding him with a second account, without him knowing it was me and the trade history. I have attached all of these pictures.​
