What happened? Description:

I was scammed out of a Tf2 item, an Unusual Crone's Dome with the effect Purple Confetti, through paypal. I did not know the scammer before he had added me to offer on my item. Originally, he had offered his two unusuals for mine. I declined that offer. He then proposed buying the hat through paypal. I agreed to do that, as long as he went first with the money. He said that he would prefer that i went first. I proposed the idea of using a trusted middleman. He said that he knew someone, KHAL00D (76561198066921496), who could do it for us. (Just to be clear, KHAL00D is not the scammer in any way.) I agreed to do it since i had heard from others that he was a trustworthy guy. We entered into a group chat. I told KHAL00D to trade over the item once i had proof that the scammer had sent over the money. I traded the unusual to KHAL00D. However, Mavis (the scammer) had told him that I was attempting to scam him, and that immediately after I had traded him, to trade the unusual to himself. After he got the unusual, he left the group chat and made his profile private. All chats are below.​

He also tried to scam me with paypal, luckily I took the items that was worth way more than my hat was worth. Be careful around him. And he has changed his name a lot recently.
