What happened? Description:

A Friend of mine named ChanceTheGerd messaged me that someone had duped my unusual
el jefe.

I checked my bp to see that my unusual had been duped,so I checked who had duped it,it showed up with a person called "go easy pls's"

I have never met this person in my life but I had payed alot for this unusual and this guy exactly duped it right down to the paint...

I want a admin to please check into this as soon as possible cause this angers me that I worked hard to get this unusual and now its duped.

Just so you know i pay 2.5 buds for this unusual and monday and tuesday there was no dupe message

It is impossible to dupe an unusual, what had happened is that they had gotten their items back due to an issue such a phishing. You had bought an unusual, one of the people you bought it from scammed the last person along the line, what steam support does is they refund the unusual to the victim's account but, you can still keep your unusual. And that is how a dupe is made ;3

Just as a measurement, because the admins may ask you for it, you should upload a picture showing your inventory history since the moment you got the unusual till this date

Follow this Inventory->More (the one that appears at the side of yer trade offers button)->and click on Inventory History

well its probably not that cause the guy only has 53 hours in the game...

Usually people who have extremely low hours with unusuals aren't recommended to trade with. 99% of the time it is an alt from a scammer account or an item from a phished account in my past experiences.

The reason that it is duped is because I fell for a phishing scam. I contacted steam support a while ago and got my items back on 19/10/14.

This is was not a scam in any way. I was scammed and just wanted my items back and I did, hence explaining the 'dupe' because now there are two copies of my scammed inventory.

I also have never traded with this user. He still owns the item.
