What happened? Description:

He added me saying that he want to buy my full metal drill unusal with dead president effects for 80 USD. On my trade I noticed very clear that the buyer has to go first along with my trading reputation and profile. He then asked for my first and last name saying that he want to check my paypal background, so I gave him my first and last name which is robin fung. After a while he sent me a image which is a receipt from paypal saying that he had sent me that 80 USD http://imgur.com/JhoD9LQ. He started calling me a scammer and said he want the hat now (although the payment isn't here yet). I didn't do the trade because I told him that I still haven't yet got the payment yet. He said he is going to report me.... Its been 4-5 Hours now the payment still isn't here yet. I got 2 steam account had around 2600+ hours on team fortess 2 trading over 700+ USD virtual tf2 items. And never had a paypal that didn't arrive within 10-20 minuets. From my experience I guess he asked for my first and last name is because he want to photoshop it to that image.... I am not 100% sure but I am pretty certain. (I also had the conversation screenshot) Here is the conversation:

I have attached some screenshot of the conversation and the image he sent me (I personally think he asked for my first and last name isn't because he want to check my paypal background but to photoshop it in that image)​

You didn't get the money because I cancelled it because you were failing to comply with the trade. I'm not a scammer just because you didn't get your money for the hat you didn't trade.

&Pacman I do background checks on every deal, you have no proof that I was attempting to scam if I was to in the first place.

Eddie, you went first. So why would you cancel the money transfer???? r u psychic that can tell before guy even knows if money has been transferred that said guy will not trade you unusual???? He would've given you the unusual when he saw he received the money. But he didn't. Because of you were lying. Your excuses are weak. The fact that you were willing to pay our b/o, or even higher than our b/o is somewhat ✿✿✿✿✿✿ed, no?

Because it's a procedure I do with everyone, I know there are sites like SOP and Steamrep, but do those sites tell if a PayPal is verified?...No, which is why I do it. But this appeal is also invalid since no scam has taken place. I didn't not pay him when I got the hat and he didn't run away with the hat.

Eddie there's another post by admin saying that lately there are scams which trader use invoice instead of payment....

I have been playing tf2 for so many hours and have been trading every since, seeing people as low as u is my first time..... at least scammer will delete u instead of calling u the scammer

it's almost as if you've suddenly changed your reasons as to why you need to do a background check from past scams and verified paypal to just verified paypal. it's almost as if you're changing things, and making things up as you go along. This also doesn't change the fact that a) you didn't even ask me whether or not my pp was verified (how easy is that to do dude) and b) having a verified or non verified paypal makes no difference what so ever since you're transferring money into my account. Who cares if the receiver's account is verified or not.

The fact that you are putting so much effort in defending yourself, trying to deter us by claiming this report is invalid since no scam took place (it's not, fool http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/read-before-posting-steamrep-investigative-policy.230/), is somewhat suspicious to say the least.

To all those who are in a similar situation with the accused, please file your own reports. Mixing your case into another makes it more difficult for admins to work with.

Hello, can you give a screenshot of your trading history? Also give a screenshot of al lyour paypal history, not the recent one.

Sure I have attached 2013-2014 paypal transaction history. If you want to see others or different dates I could take more screenshots.
As for trading histories I have been trading both in sourceop and Tf2 outpost. The trader in sourceop which I traded with the most is "Dswiss". I believe he might be a donator.
And if you want to see all the trades/unsual trades I did in Team fortress outpost I could also take some screenshots but its quite alot.

Hi there, thought I could be of assistance in this. Same guy added me and tried to buy my nappers, I thought it suspicious since he was overpaying in pure but thought, eh what the hell. Hes going first.

ya I saw couple of people who got scammed by him, and thats not counting people who didn't come to this forum. Really hope they can do something about Eddie
