    What happened? Description:
    Set up a trade offer on Reddit and got an offer from someone. I thought using a middleman would be a good idea as it was advised on the guides I read off of Reddit, so I suggested one. He found one for me which turned out to be fake. After I completed the trade with the middleman, they both dropped from the group chat and unfriended me.

    As it turned out, the buyer in question already had four reports over using a fake middleman (nobody's fault but mine for not checking), but the middleman account looked clear and I thought I would be fine. Previously reported Buyer's ID64 is 76561198083152251, and he goes by .​

    My son just had exactly the same issue with this person - he said he'd act as middle man for a trade, then kept the items with the other party blocking my son. Complained to Steam and they are all care no responsibility.
