What happened? Description:

I met this person in a csgo game several weeks, if not over a month ago. I knew he has been a trader for awhile, which is why I went forth with this trade.

I saw he had changed his name to "B< Knives Paypal" and I had been wanting to essentially refund the knife I had purchased with my bank card, so I decided to talk to him. The following is an exact copy and paste of the chat log, of which screenshots will be included.

I have also since changed my paypal email and email password / security questions, incase he attempts to hack it

I apologize with my disappointing Paypal history, I have not previously used the account for anything as I have just gotten a bank account this month and only recently began working. I have had the account for awhile but have never used it, and can confirm that it is linked to the same bank account used for my steam purchases and with the same card used to purchase the scammed item.

I have done so.

My report has yielded some results, and the user is now Valve trade banned. I am satisfied with this, and do not necessarily need this to be looked at right away.
