What happened? Description:

Added me, wanting to buy my knife for keys. He told me he was interested in buying my knife for 425 keys, though he wanted me to trade it to a freind of mine first to make sure it is not a duped/hacked item.

It's an old trick, and I'm sure the majority of the steam/CS:GO trading community knows about it. As soon as i've traded it to my freind he's going to add my freind and invite him to a group conversation with the scammers freind where he'll pretend to be me using my name, and profile picture. He'll then say something like "That's good enough, you can trade the knife back" or something along those lines, and my freind who is supposed to trade it back to me, will trade it to the freind of the scammer by thinking it's me. Anyways, i'm sick of the amount of scammers in the community and this is why i'm reporting this guy, in an attempt to not have him scam someone else. In the screenshots below, you can see the chat between the two of us.

TL;DR: I was not scammed, but was attempted to be scammed by this guy.​

I draged it out a bit, it's proberbly only the first screenshot that's nessesary to see that he's attempting to scam me. I added both anyways.​
