    Scam Report

Report Type: [Gambling] Gambling fraud or spycrab runner
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

Accused profile: 76561198122642151 ([JBWKZ] Sexy Monster)

    Victim profile: 76561198079763656

    What happened? Description:
This guy randomly added me to gamble playing tic tac toe, I assume we had steam groups in common and that's how he contacted me. We went to a server (IP: 142.4.211.173:27000) playing the map 'trade_masscc_b7_1' to play tic tac toe, after agreeing to gamble a painted Bill's Hat (his) against Strange holiday Punch, Strange Festive Eyelander and Festive Minigun (mine). Once I won he disconnected from the server, closed his game and steam.

This occurred on my server and I can vouch for this happening as I was witness to it.

Do you have screenshots of the event itself?

    Demos, logs?

    Also give your trading history.

That's actually a good idea. I use SourceBans on the server and that (obviously) has the option to add a demo to someone's ban. I'm gonna start getting players to record a demo before they start gambling that way if things turn sour they have evidence.

I can look up the player on HLStats and provide a link to his chat history through HLStats if necessary.

EDIT: Here's his chat history on the server. The last thing he said in chat was "um". He didn't say anything after that. Shortly after, he lost the game of tic-tac-toe and when GamingSpud was declared the winner, Sexy Monster disconnected.

EDIT 2: I've attached the HLStats chat log from that day. Using the "come to the theatre" message from one of GamingSpud's images, I managed to locate the exact time and date this went down, and found it in HLStats.

Oh, I should note as well that the chat log for the player is 100% real and not faked in any way. Look at the URL for his chat history on my HLStats: http://unfgaming.net/hlstats/hlstats.php?mode=chathistory&player=4601

Take note of the player number; 4601. Here's his profile on my HLStats: http://unfgaming.net/hlstats/hlstats.php?mode=playerinfo&player=4601 You can see his Steam ID listed on the player profile.

As well, one of his "clan" mates (same clan tag) joined my server a few days ago and the SteamRep plugin labelled him as a scammer. Here's the "clan mate" of Sexy Monster. He's since changed his name to Rumble the Gamer, but if you check the historical data, you'll see the same clan tag. As it turns out, the Scammer label was applied to Rumble due to "Spycrab running/not honoring wager", so this seems to be a common trend among members of this "JBWKZ" clan thing.

Hate to double-post, but after looking at GamingSpud's chat history on the server to see what Sexy Monster had offered up for the gamble (as the original agreement was not shown in any of the images provided by Spud), I see it was a Bill's Hat that Sexy Monster was supposed to pay up, but instead he chose to disconnect after losing. As for what GamingSpud offered up, I'm not sure but I do see that a middleman was not used so no items were lost by either party as far as I can see.

May I ask how long will this take? Guy's probably scammed a lot more people and is getting away with it
