What happened? Description:

I unboxed my first unusual yesterday, put it on outpost. Today a person who had 3.6 hours played added me and wanted to buy it for my B/O price (I figured this was his alternate account). I though everything was okay until he wanted a proof that the hat isn't duped (weird as it's 1:1). I told him to check my screenshot (took a screenshot of unboxing), or the history of the hat (since I'm the first owner). He wanted me to give the hat to any of my friends so he could take a screenshot of it in their inventory. I called one of my friends on skype and told him what will happen. I traded the hat to my friend and the scammer tried keeping me busy by asking questions such as: "on what price did we agree on", "can't go lower?" etc. In the meantime somebody with the same name as me wanted to trade my friend who had the hat in his inventory. Since we are on skype (he is sharing his screen) I see it and tell him not to do anything. When my friend clicked on the fake profile of me, he saw that it was private. At this point we both knew what was going on and called him out on his BS. He didn't respond and later went off.

Now remember how I said that this profile was his alternate? I knew it also by the fact that he had 3 buds in his inventory. I got a link to his outpost and looked at the last owner. Sure enough it was all the same guy (his main account). His main account is what I'm accusing. I have screenshots of the chat with his alternate account and also the item ID of all of the buds. (everything in evidence)

IMPORTANT: On my screen I was just chatting with his alternate account, however on my friend's screen he was in a group chat with the alternate account AND with the fake me.
I presume this is how the fake me was able to invite my friend to trade.​

He scammed me for my unusual defiant spartan as you see above. Please help bring this guy down and get our items back

exactly the same happened to me. I was deceived by the same person. after we exchanged with another at his request, my hat somehow mysteriously disappeared, neither I nor my friend with him exchanged. after he sent the exchange items to a different account. help expose the damned scammer.

Unfortunately no, when I yelled at him not to trade with that person, he only made sure by typing "yes ?" in the chat, to which the fake me replied "we can trade now". Once I saw that I told him to close the chat to be safe (reporting them was the last thing on my mind then).

He's at it again, He has 6 unusuals in his backpack which means he has gotten other people.
I'm currently stalling him and so far its been about 45 minutes.

Well I have already cleared out with Letenko that I'm not involved in any of this scamming, I'm just the guy who got bought some hats from those scammers for quicksell price. I never asked him where he got those hats from. I'm clean on my side and right now Letenko & me are planning to bug the scammer and find out where the keys went which I traded him. I'm uploading a picture as well where I traded him the keys for the hats.

He's right altough at first it seemed he was the scammer he was just a white horse. The alternate account sold the unusuals to TurnDownForWhat?! as he is quickbuying unusuals, he had no idea they were stolen. Anyway I figured out a plan to get to the main account and TurnDownForWhat?! has agreed to help us.

UPDATE: He has a ton of keys in his inventory, I'm gonna write down every ID of it and track them through backpack.tf to see where they are going.
